Social Media – Keep up the Facebook and Instagram page for MVSEG
Annual Giving Campaign – Our biggest fundraiser of the year – 100% of the money goes directly to MVSEG through this annual direct donation drive.
Fundraiser Liaison – Help coordinate all the various fundraisers MVSEG puts on and makes sure permits are secured for each event.
Grants – Help identify and apply for outside grants to supplement MVSEG’s enrichment efforts.
Hospitality – Each MVSEG meeting has a nice spread of food brought by the board. This position helps coordinate those efforts and attends all meetings to help with set up.
Party Book – Help spread the word about Party Book, schedule the events and coordinate sign ups and ticket sales. Mar Vista families can attend parties or enjoy special outings while raising money for the school.
Tasty Tuesdays – Schedule a once per month event at a restaurant who gives back a portion of its proceeds to MVSEG.
Ralphs Rewards – Get our community to register their Ralphs cards so that MVSEG gets money with every purchase made.
Gala and Silent Auction – Help plan THE major social event of the year! At this adults only event in the spring, families bid on auction items such as trips, restaurant gift certificates, beauty treatments and much, much more, all to raise money for MVSEG. We always have at least 4 chairpersons for this committee.
Spirit Wear – Spread community spirit by coordinating the selling and ordering of Mar Vista merch.
Website – Keep our website updated and looking fresh. Knowledge of WordPress is necessary.
