What Is The Bids for Kids Silent Auction Gala?

The Silent Auction is a parents-only event which features cocktails, dinner, music, a silent auction; raise the paddle, and a very exciting live auction. The Silent Auction raises a third of the MVSEG’s budget making it the second highest fundraiser at the school. This event will be held on Saturday, March 9th at the DoubleTree in Culver City.

Why Get Involved?

Without the efforts, energy, and love of parents at Mar Vista Elementary School, we would not be able to offer so many wonderful programs such as Computer Instruction, Art, Hands-on Science, Physical Education, Music, Teacher Aides, A Librarian, and so much more in which LAUSD is unable to provide for our children.

If you have special skills like advertising, building a slideshow, communications, data entry, decorating, editing, organizing, packaging, party planning, playing music, photography, solicitations, writing catalog copy, writing thank you notes, etc., we need you!

How to Volunteer:

Whether you have 20 minutes or loads of free time to offer as one of our event leaders, this fundraiser has a spot for you.  Come to the meeting and hear all about the type of skills we’re in need of this year, and even some ways you can help out from home in your pajamas!
